For over a decade, I've been creating content on the Internet, dedicating far too much energy to understanding the intricacies of every social network. I know how to game the system on Instagram, and I can tell you what formats to use in order to perform better on Twitter.&nbsp; However, I eventually realized that I was spending more time navigating the platforms and rules around content, rather than focusing on the content itself.&nbsp;

Social media platforms offload their algorithmmic burden onto us. What may be a simple UX change for them can mean weeks of relearning and reworking our content in order to please the fussy algorithm and reach an audience that for some reason no longer sees our work. Our time and energy is at stake, and for many our livelihoods; something has to break.

I believe that all creators, regardless of their chosen medium, should be able to share their work effortlessly. Starlo is my response to that conviction, a platform designed to empower creators with a tool we should have had from the very beginning.
